just stopping by...

Hey, Girls!

We just wanted to pop in and remind you all that you have till this Sunday, May 25th to submit for this months mini-challenges! Thanks to everyone who has submitted so far...the gallery is looking awesome!

Also, we just wanted to share with you a few more of our favorite items...

I've had so many questions about what paper shelves I use in my scrapbook room, and here they are! These are awesome and they go quickly...so get 'em while you can! I use mine for organizing cardstock...love 'em!

The American Crafts D-Ring Modern Albums...we love these! They are durable, customizable, and simple...and they come in different colors and sizes, too. Check them out!

What would scrapbooking be without idea books for motivation and inspiration? These are some of our favorites, the ones that we always reach for when we need an idea!

We hope you are all having a wonderful spring and we'll be back on Monday to announce this month's winner. See you soon!!!

Today's Mini Challenge:

"Use bright colors!"

This is something that's really hot for summer! Like I said in the video...it's all the rage in home decor...so why not incorporate it into your scrapbooking? I seem to always choose the same colors when I scrapbook (blues...greens...since I have a little boy) but I have to say I was loving the bright colors and mixing it up and using colors I don't always use. See what you think...and send us a layout or project you've created by going bright!

Remember that you have until May 25th to send us a jpeg of your work...that way you're entered into the draw for this months goodie box!! You don't want to miss out on your chance to win...it's a valued prize of over $100!!! Each person can submit up to 2 items...we'll be announcing one winner on Monday, May 26th.

And thanks again to everyone that has played along with us! Your work has been incredible and has given me some fun ideas. Keep the inspiration coming!!

Featured Product:

Olivia and Pals Clear Stamp Set by Sassafrass Lass

Today's Mini Challenge:

"Create Cards using Stamped Images"

When I saw this stamp set by Sassafrass Lass, I simply couldn't resist! The owls are just too cute, and I thought they'd make some fun cards. I love using my stamps to make home-made cards for family and friends...I know you all have a TON of stamps in your stash, so break 'em out and get stamping! (and just a hint...my favorite ink to stamp with is the black Stazon Ink!)

It has been so much fun sharing ideas and projects with you this month! The gallery is looking awesome, and remember you have till the 25th to submit up to 2 layouts or projects for any of the challenges we've issued, AND we'll announce the winner of this month's goodie box on Monday, May 26th.

Come back tomorrow for our last day of the Goodie Girl Product Picks!!

“sweet feet" by Kim Loewen

(supplies: embossed paper: Love Elsie; mask, bling, sticker alphabet, chipboard alphabet: Heidi Swapp; bling cardstock: Bazzill; black journaling pen: American Crafts; die-cut journaling card: Jenni Bowlin; Glimmer Mist Spray: Tattered Angels)

Featured Product:

(there are so many cool colors to pick from!!)

die-cut journaling cards by Jenni Bowlin

Today's Mini Challenge:

"use an oversized photo"

I love the effect of using a large photo on a layout. It really draws you into the layout and fills up empty space. It also allows you to journal right on the photo (depending on the space available). I was able to use just one photo on my layout by using a large photo...and maybe that's something new for you! Give it a try...you might just like it!

Remember to email a jpeg of your layout or project to thegoodieboxgirls@hotmail.com so we can post it in the goodie gallery. There has been some amazing inspiration happening over there, so make sure you check it out and leave a little feedback for all the hard work!

Thanks to everyone who has played along with us!!!

Today's Mini Challenge:

"Use a Clear Element on a Layout or Project"

I love the versatility of clear embellishments...you can layer 'em, stick 'em, paint 'em, sew 'em...there are so many possibilities! These ones from Making Memories are fun 'cause they are self adhesive, which makes them very easy to use. So get going on a page using something "clear"...and make sure you submit it by May the 25th to thegoodieboxgirls@hotmail.com!

Thanks so much for joining me today, and we'll see you again tomorrow!!
