Day 6

Hey everyone, welcome to day 6! That's right, we're already half way done....here's the next goodie girl product pick and challenge! (why do I always look so funny in the freeze frame?? haha!)

Today's Mini Challenge:

"Use a Transparency or Overlay"

There are so many beautiful transparencies and overlays on the market and they are so much fun to use. You can cut them up or use them as is....be creative! I love layering them over cardstock and patterened paper to add a little more texture, but there's so much to do when it's a clear element!



The goodie gallery looks great! We love having you play along with us, so make sure to send us a jpeg of your layout so we can add it to the goodie gallery and to make sure you're entered to win this months goodie box.

And remember...we can only accept TWO LAYOUTS/PROJECTS PER PERSON, (as opposed to two layouts/challenge) so make sure you pick 2 challenges that you really want to submit for!

I think felt accents on my pages make them feel homey, comfy and warm...I just love love how they coordinate with all of the fabulous Jenni Bowlin stuff. Day 4

This was a project I actually made for a girl's birthday party activity. It was so fun and so easy...but like I said on the video they're a great little gift to give a friend or to mail out for Mother's Day!

Today your challenge is to get a little messy using paint, ink or glitter on a layout or project! I love getting messy when I scrapbook...with all the fun new products out it's just way too hard to stay clean...hehe! The ideas are endless...so just have fun and try something new.

Today's Mini Challenge:

"Create a Mini Album Using Coordinating Products!"

Like I said in the video, I loooove using coordinating products when I want to do a quick project. I don't have to worry about mixing and matching anything...it's all done for me! So be lazy with me (wink), and grab some matching product and whip up a quick little album! You can also get alot of Love, Elsie over at 2 Peas (click on the link in the sidebar), and send pictures of your project when you're done...I can't wait to see what you come up with!




Remember, you have till May 25th to submit up to 2 layouts or projects...there's some cute stuff in the Goodie Gallery already, you guys are awesome!

Day 2



Welcome to Day 2!!! Make sure you check everyday for a new video and Goody Girl Product Pick...we're sharing our favorites with you and today I'm sharing one of my very favorite products with you. I seem to find a product I love and then want to use all the time...and I just love the noteworthy line by Making Memories...from the fun die-cut papers to the die-cut shapes...they're all so cute!

"Mix and Match Fonts"

I loved the effect of mixing fonts in the title of this layout. It really made the word ‘happy’ stand out…and that’s exactly where I wanted the emphasis to be in my layout. There are so many great fonts out there in every style imaginable, so why not try mixing them up a bit? I also find it useful when I’m getting low on letters to mix my fonts so I can create more words….be creative and mix it up this month! Make sure to email a jpeg of your submissions to thegoodieboxgirls@hotmail.com by May 25th to be entered to win this month's Goodie Box!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!




Hey, Everyone!!



Welcome back to the Goodie Box this month! In honor of National Scrapbooking Day, we wanted to do something fun...so for 12 days, we'll be sharing a layout or project with you all where we "feature" some our favorite products on the market right now. Everyday, you'll get a video as well as pictures of the projects. We can't wait to get started!!



As well, each day we'll be issuing a "mini challenge" that you can take part in if you want. Each person can submit up to 2 layouts/projects for the Goodie Gallery this month.
