*magic* interactive mini album

Hey Everyone!

We just thought we'd share a project that we taught at a local store, The Urban Scrapbook, this weekend. The idea with this album was there are no rules...any page size, any paper type...we loved all the layers and fun pieces in this album. We also encouraged students to not stress about the photos...any pictures of any theme will do. Just go for it and have fun! What you see here is the basis to make the album your own...have fun adding to it with stamping, embellishments and journaling!

Thanks so much to all those who attended and thanks to Urban for having us!

taking a break

Hello Everyone!

Since it's the beginning of a new month, I just wanted to let you all know that Kim and I will be taking a break from the Goodie Box challenges for a while. We are sad that we won't be here every month to share ideas and be inspired by you all, but sometimes life just gets crazy!

With my new baby coming in March, and both Kim and I just dealing with our everyday responsibilities as wives and mothers, this just seems like a good time to slow down for a while. Let's call it a "maternity/creative leave"...time to take care of our babies and find new ideas and inspiration in the scrapbooking world.

We love the Goodie Box. We love the people we have met through our challenges. Thanks so much for supporting us and playing along with us every month!!

In the meantime, you can always check out our personal blogs here and here to see what we are currently up to, and we will let you know when we will be resuming challenges again after the new year. If you are not on our email list, please email us at the goodieboxgirls@hotmail.com so we can add you to our list and let you know of upcoming challenges.

Thanks so much and bye for now!!

And we also want to give a shout out to...

Rhonda Steed

Only a couple more days....

"Time"  By Talia Audenart

(supplies:  patterned paper: Making Memories;  clock stamps, clock overlay, chipboard letters, ghost images, decorative tape, chipboard shapes: Heidi Swapp;  tulle, ink: other)

Tal used the clock stamps to create a border for her layout...she let them go off the page to make the images look like they are a part of the paper rather than a stamped image!!  And I love how she layered a ghost clock over a photo!

Don't forget that you only have a couple more days to submit your layouts.  Email your layouts to the goodieboxgirls@hotmail.com (make sure you send your pictures as a jpeg) to be entered in the draw.  You won't want to miss out!!

And make sure you check out the goodie gallery....it's always fun to see what everyone has created.

I have really been enjoying my stamps this month and have been making more of an effort to get them out and use them...I used some of my favorite pictures of my son on this project.
