Only a couple more days....

"Time"  By Talia Audenart

(supplies:  patterned paper: Making Memories;  clock stamps, clock overlay, chipboard letters, ghost images, decorative tape, chipboard shapes: Heidi Swapp;  tulle, ink: other)

Tal used the clock stamps to create a border for her layout...she let them go off the page to make the images look like they are a part of the paper rather than a stamped image!!  And I love how she layered a ghost clock over a photo!

Don't forget that you only have a couple more days to submit your layouts.  Email your layouts to the goodieboxgirls@hotmail.com (make sure you send your pictures as a jpeg) to be entered in the draw.  You won't want to miss out!!

And make sure you check out the goodie gallery....it's always fun to see what everyone has created.

Challenge #11: Stamping

Welcome back...

We hope you've all had a fabulous summer and been able to relax and enjoy some nice weather. I'm sure everyone has taken a bazillion pictures from all the activities and holidays and are ready to get scrapping again...right? Hehe! We're doing things a little bit different this month and are really excited to share the changes with you.

So let's get right to it.

We are very excited to have Robyn Werlich join us this month as our Guest Goodie Girl!!! Robyn is so talented and is definitely an inspiration when it comes to stamping and scrapbooking. Her work can be seen in Scrapbooks Etc. Magazine and she creates for Autumn Leaves and Hero Arts. You can also see more of her work on her blog so make sure you check it out! We thought it would be fun for you to get to know her better....

1. Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah but I currently live in St. George, UT (southern corner of Utah).

2. Tell us a little about yourself and your family.
My husband, Ryan, and I have been married for 11 years...that seems so crazy to write! ☺ Time flies! We have three wonderful kids: Madisyn is 6 years old, Hudson is 4 and Jaxon is 7 months.

3. How long have you been scrapbooking?
I started scrapbooking a month before I had my first child, Madisyn and I was completely hooked! Seven years later and I still love this fun creative journey of scrapbooking.

4. Tell us a little about your scrapbooking style and background.
Hmmmm....scrapbooking style? I’m very linear and detailed...I’m all about the details! A few of my favorite things are fun colors, polka dots, string, stamping and the finishing process of adding all the finishing touches! ;)

5. What inspires you in your scrapbooking?
Honestly - product inspires me a lot! I will get something new and it will spark new ideas and fun things to try. Scrapbooking is a lot about the creative process for me and trying different things with products really gets me inspired.

6. What are 3 of your favorite scrapbooking products?
Tone-on-Tone polka dot paper
Butterflies - punches, chipboard, die-cuts - anything! ☺
String!
And...I gotta add 4, stamps!!

And now for the challenge...

Stamping!!

Create a layout using stamps. There are so many cute stamps out there so let's use them. Be creative...there's no limits with what you can do with a stamp. Use it for your title, as an embellishment, cut it out, emboss it...just get using those cute stamps. We want to see what you can do.

Here's Robyn's inspiration...

"Life" By Robyn Werlich

(supplies: Cardstock: Stampin' Up! & Bazzill; White Grid Paper: Scenic Route; Label Die-Cuts: Stampin' Up!; Large Butterfly Chipboard: K&Company; Alphabet Stamps: Purple Onion Designs; Polka-dot stamp: Post Modern Design; Flourish stamp (on green): Autumn Leaves; 'Enjoy the Journey' stamp: Hero Arts; Ink: Versamark & Stampin' Up!; Embossing Powder: Hero Arts; Ribbon, Buttons, Chipboard letters: Stampin' Up!; Large Metal Label: Basic Grey; Butterfly punch: Martha Stewart; Swiss Dot embossing folder (used on pink butterfly): Cuttlebug; Other: Sewing, string, colored pencils (used for title), staples, heart punch, brads)

I love how Robyn used stamps with cardstock to create her own pattern paper! And notice how she embossed her stamped image!! So cute. I also love how she cut her picture into a shape and stitched on her layout...very fun.

Make sure you check back later this week for more inspiration!!

And just a reminder that you can submit up to 2 layouts to thegoodieboxgirls@hotmail.com (send us a jpeg of your layout and don't forget to include your first and last name). The deadline for submissions will be Sunday, September 28th and we'll announce the winner on Monday, September 29th.
