another fabric idea...
"Forever" Pillow by Talia Audenart
(supplies: flowers: Making Memories, Heidi Swapp; velvet ribbon: Making Memories; buttons: Foofala; fabric: Heather Bailey; other: iron-on T-shirt transfers)
I love the idea of scrapbooking going beyond just pages and albums, and becoming a part of our everyday life as well. For this pillow, I printed my photos onto an iron-on T-shirt transfer, ironed the images onto plain fabric, and then stitched them to my pillow. My girls love seeing this pillow with their little faces on it...they think it's so much fun! I also hand wrote the word "forever" with a pencil directly onto my fabric, and then stitched over it using brown embroidery floss. Next, I stitched on the flowers, button and strip of ribbon across the bottom, sewed the whole thing together, stuffed it with pillow stuffing and my pillow was complete! This was a fun project to do, and a happy addition to my home decor.
Thanks for stopping by today...I hope I've given you another little idea as to how you can use fabric on your scrapbooking projects. Send us those submissions to the goodieboxgirls@hotmail.com, and come back on Monday for another fabric idea from Kim!
Talia:)

I adore this! Oh, I've got to do something similar asap! I love, love, love it!
Me too! Love it! Fun stuff.
I Love it too! I'm thinkin' every home needs one of those!
I love this! Such a cute idea! I am definitely going to make one. I borrowed one of the pictures to post on my blog--its just a family and friends blog. I wanted to show them this cute idea and I linked back to the Goodie Box. If you would like me to take the picture down I am more than willing, just let me know. It is such a cute pillow!
Ok, that is way to freakin creative! I love that idea! How in the heck did you think of something like that! I'm totally going to steal it!
BTW, talia, what is the font you used in the page "you."?
ooo mama! making me one of those!
hey, Jessica...
the font i used is called "filosofina unicase" (i think!). it's one that i actually paid for off the internet...i couldn't find it anywhere for free.
hope that helps, let me know if you can't find it!

I agree with everyone else. Absolutely love this! Going to be my project for next week.
Can you give us a few specifics?
Where did you find Heather Bailey's fabric?
What are the dimensions of the pillow and sizes of the pictures?
Thanks so much for always sharing your fun and unique ideas.
I got my fabric at a local quilt shop (you won't find her fabric at a typical retail store). The pillow measures approx. 22" x 5" and the pictures measure approx 4x4". Hope that helps!
Thanks Talia!
I saw her stuff online. I just thought you might have ordered yours that way.
Looking forward to trying this next week.
This is beautiful! I love this! Cute idea.
This is ADORABLE!!!
I'm doing Christmas in July to feature fun/fresh ideas on my 30 days blog (it's full of tutorials- did it for handmade Christmas gifts but it's time to update it). Do you mind if I feature you there???? And post about this on my main blog?
I too LOVE this cross over of fabric and scrapbooking. I love Donna Downey's book- Fabric Scrapbooking.
Super duper cute!!
I love this idea! I might make something similar for my mom
